July 23: Canoeing 1-3pm A free afternoon of relaxing discovery on Catfish Creek for all ages. Meet at the Canoe Launch Parking Area. This program is first come, first served, no reservations will be taken.
July 24: Songs of Nature 1-3pm Join musician, Maureen Leytem, for a fun afternoon of children’s music while surrounded by nature. Come to the new Woodland Walk Pavilion, located near the nature center, to sing-a-long! If it rains the program will move to the EB Lyons Nature Center. Ages 0-10.
July 26: Preschool Hour 10-10:45am Bring your little one out to E.B. Lyons Nature Center for a fun, educational program. Each session will feature a different theme and will focus on a variety of topics dealing with nature. Ages 2-4 with adult.
July 26: Movie Night: featuring Fern Gully 7pm Join us for this family friendly movie, FernGully: The Last Rainforest. This movie discusses the deforestation and pollution in the precious rainforests, as the fun characters and animals try to protect their home. We will be viewing the movie in the EB Lyons Nature Center Auditorium.
August 20th at 1:00pm Come and celebrate Smokey Bear’s 72nd Birthday with us at the E.B. Lyons Nature Center!
