July 8  10-10:45am Preschool Hour: Bring your little one out to E.B. Lyons Nature Center for a fun, educational program. Each session will feature a different theme and will focus on a variety of topics dealing with nature. Ages 2-4 with adult.

July 8: Kayaking 1-3pm Want to learn to kayak? Come out to Catfish Creek and join a Naturalist on the water. Ages 12 & up, parent supervision required. This program is first come, first served, and will be instructional.

July 17th  1-3pm Nature Myth Busters “Yikes! That slimy toad gave me warts!” If you have ever said this you should join us for the nature myth busters program that will shed new light on the mysteries of the world around us.

July 24: Songs of Nature 1-3pm Join musician, Maureen Leytem, for a fun afternoon of children’s music while surrounded by nature. Come to the new Woodland Walk Pavilion, located near the nature center, to sing-a-long!  If it rains the program will move to the EB Lyons Nature Center. Ages 0-10.

July 26: Movie Night: featuring Fern Gully  7pm Join us for this family friendly movie, FernGully: The Last Rainforest. This movie discusses the deforestation and pollution in the precious rainforests, as the fun characters and animals try to protect their home. We will be viewing the movie in the EB Lyons Nature Center Auditorium.
