Spoil to Soil: A Beginners Guide to Composting

Turn those food scraps and yard waste into something useful! The average US Household generates 650 lbs. of compostable materials each year. It doesn’t matter if you live in an apartment or wide open spaces, everyone can compost. Bev Wagner, the education coordinator at the Dubuque Solid Waste Agency, will present how composting works and show examples of different types of composting at this informational program.
